We encourage everyone – not just the Intergroup Rep – to attend our Service Basics Workshop, which gives an overview of OA Service as a whole and Foot Steps Intergroup in particular.  Keep an eye on our Announcements for upcoming sessions. We also offer a tour of the Foot Steps website features. To schedule this, email the Meetings Support Team.

Foot Steps Committees could always use help to keep our Intergroup up and running.  Each Committee is listed on the Contact Us page.  You can view committee and intergroup meetings on the website here.

If you don’t know the background of the Foot Steps Intergroup, we invite you to learn more about OA Foot Steps Intergroup (including how we got our name).  Our Intergroup includes about 200 member meetings, offering a wide range of topics, times, and formats.  It also means that we need guidelines to keep the meeting schedule running smoothly. Most of these are accessible from the main menu bar.

We particularly ask that you review the information under Best Practices – particularly Meeting Courtesy Statement,  Sharing the Host Key, and Setting Up Zoom Security.

If you are locked out of a meeting room for five to seven minutes, a zoom administrator needs to open the room. You can call one of them (via WhatsApp) for help; see Best Practices: What to do if Stuck in Waiting Room for details.

Our Security Committee offers suggestions for how to deal with intruders, find support after an intrusion, intruder alerts and WhatsApp Chats.

• Intruder alerts is used strictly to report ongoing intrusions.. Please email security@oafootsteps.com and ask for instructions about how to join the chat.
  
• Meeting Intrusion Support and Communication is for general chat regarding security  https://chat.whatsapp.com/F5d47V5XQQvCl2xInnuTlq 
  
• Security Help  is where meeting hosts can reach out for help in an emergency if they are unable to find a security trained co-host for a meeting. Please email security@oafootsteps.com and ask for instructions about how to join the Security Help chat.
