Green Dot workshops are for anyone who wants to understand how intergroup procedures work.

Need others that have past group level experience to run workshops and answer any questions people have.

There will be an out-of-office auto response from late June – mid July for email requests to meetings@oafootsteps.com. I will be moving during that time. I hope to resume my commitment around July 12th & will be responding to old & new email requests around then.

The OAF Leadership Manual has a bit of info about how to use Meetup for changes to OAF meetings. I’m working on detailed instructions for future circulation.

We decided that daily meetings which want to be a part of OAF can use the gold/Zoom 3 platform. Please coordinate with me at meetings@oafootsteps.com to set this up.

The Newcomer Committee meets every Tuesday at 1pm EST.  Our primary focus has been to re-organize the website section for Newcomers.  We have finished this, and would like to propose a new menu organization, some specific page content re-organization & material.  We have put ourselves in the shoes of a newcomer going to our website and trying to find their way through the material.  We are trying to give them a road map of how to navigate all the necessary and useful info.  We now need VIG approval and web team coordination & support to accomplish this.  We have started working on a FAQ for newcomers that will be included in the website & next we will work on podcasts for newcomers.

The Sponsorship Committee met on 05/18/2021 and 06/15/2021.

The committee has reached out to all the listed sponsors and did a status check. Everything seems to be working out very well. A handful asked to be taken off the list for one reason or another. We have been getting several requests per day for sponsors andonly about one sponsor per week.

The committee is all set for the workshop on 06/19/2021. We are in need of committee
members.

The Web Team Committee continues to search for someone to Chair. The ideal candidate would be familiar with WordPress & OA Footsteps, & would join our web team WhatsApp group ASAP to get to know the committee.

Meanwhile, committee members continue to communicate about how to keep the OAF website updated & serving the needs of all members. We hope we are doing that well, & are glad we are of service.
